To be directed by ace director Anurag Basu of Gangster and Metro fame, the movie is to be shot in New Mexico, Las Vegas and Los Angeles in the U.S.A.

The producer and director have reached back India after an extensive search in the U.S.A for the leading lady. For over a month, director Anurag Basu and Rakesh Roshan have been hunting for a suitable actress from Spanish background for their upcoming film,

On their list were popular Latino actresses including Penelope Cruz. Finally they decided on Barbara Mori. She has worked in television and in a few Spanish-Mexican films.

Many girls were considered for the role including Sonam kapoor of Saawariyan fame. But she backed out due to the bold scenes required in the film.

“The girl’s role is extremely bold. Actually, we’ve decided to cast someone international because that’s the personality and profile of the leading lady in my film,” Anurag Basu, who will direct the film, was quoted as saying.

The movie also stars Kangana Raut. She is veteran of Anurag Basu’s hit movies, Gangster and Metro.

Big Hollywood divorce

Los Angeles (E! Online) - Sean Penn and Robin Wright Penn are entering a state of divorce.

The Hollywood twosome, who fell in love on the set of the 1990 thriller State of Grace and later married, are seeking a divorce after 11 years of marriage, according to People.

Penn's longtime publicist, Mara Buxbaum, did not provide details on the split.

The 47-year-old actor-director and the 41-year-old Wright began dating about a year after Penn ended his four-year union to Madonna in 1989.

The couple quickly hit it off and moved in together in 1991. They had two children, 16-year-old Dylan Frances and 14-year-old Hopper Jack, and finally tied the knot in 1996.

Penn raised eyebrows in April when he appeared at a Hollywood police station in the wear hours to comfort Eve following her DUI arrest. Police described Penn as simply "a friend" of the rapper-actress and he declined to comment on the visit.

The actor, who has been making headlines in recent years as an outspoken critic of the Bush administration and the Iraq War, won an Academy Award for his stirring performance as a father whose child is murdered in 2003's Mystic River. He also scored Best Actor Oscar nominations for 1995's Dead Man Walking, 1999's Sweet and Lowdown and 2001's I Am Sam.

Aside from Grace, the Dallas-born Wright Penn costarred with her Oscar-winning hubby in 1997's She's So Lovely and 1998's Hurly Burly, and they are reuniting in Barry Levinson's suddenly aptly titled Hollywood satire, What Just Happened?, which will debut at next month's Sundance Film Festival. She has also appeared in two flicks Penn has helmed, 1995's The Crossing Guard and 2001's The Pledge, both starring Jack Nicholson.

The actress, who was previously married for two years to actor Dane Witherspoon, shot to fame playing the titular royal Buttercup in the 1987 hit The Princess Bride. She earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in 1994's Forrest Gump.

Penn's most recent directorial effort, Into The Wild, is currently being lauded by various critics groups as the best film of 2007, so far earning two Golden Globe nods and four Screen Actors Guild Award nominations.

How celebrities coped with migraine

Migraine headaches stem from various reasons. They afflict millions of people all over the world. In the USA alone, there are more than 30 million people who take regular treatment for migraine.

Migraine headache is often described as a throbbing or pulsating one-sided (unilateral) pain that is intensified by routine physical activity, such as coughing, straining, or lowering of the head. The attack of migraine is often debilitating, and the sufferers are left feeling tired and weak once the
headache has passed.

Migraine is not confined to human beings of any particular age group. It can strike the young and the old alike. However, statistics prove that women
sufferers of migraine far outnumber men the world over.

Some women experience migraine headaches just prior to or during menstruation. These may be related to hormonal changes. Other women develop migraine during pregnancy or after menopause.

Interestingly, some great men and women of world-wide fame suffered from migraine for years and yet, undeterred by this affliction, they bravely
carried on in their respective professions. For instance, as many as three American Presidents – Thomas Jefferson, Ulysses S. Grant, and Woodrow
Wilson - were chronic patients of migraine.

Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826) : The 3rd President of America, used to have severe migraine attacks, which he said sometimes lasted for more than six
weeks. Jefferson described his attacks like, "They came on every day at sunrise and never left till sunset.” Jefferson’s migraine was diagnosed to
have resulted from his inner conflict and repressed anger.

These attacks occurred through most of his life. But these ceased after he left the presidency. Unlike most migraine victims, Jefferson forced
himself to work despite the pain.

Ulysses S. Grant(1822-1885) : America’s 18th President Ulysses S. Grant(1822-1885) got migraine every three or four weeks. His wife Julia wrote in her memoirs that when he
returned from office he would be suffering from a dreadful headache. She ministered to him as best as she could to alleviate his suffering. She would
arrange for him a mustard bath and also give him little pills to make him sleep.

Grant had a severe attack of migraine just two days before the climax of the American Civil War. But the instant he came to know that General Lee
had surrendered, his headache completely disappeared!

Alfred Nobel (1833-1896) : The renowned inventor and founder of the Nobel Prizes, suffered from acute pain in the head periodically. When an attack of
migraine had him down, he would still be carrying on his writing work with his head wrapped in a wet towel. Sometime when his migraine became unbearable, he would suspend his work and disappear for weeks on end. His worried friends and assistants would eventually find that he had returned
to his laboratory wearing dark glasses and a wet towel tied round his head.

Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1922) : The celebrated inventor, suffered from headaches all his life. In childhood, he had attacks of what his mother described as ‘musical fever’. Listening to music affected Bell so deeply that he could not sleep, leaving him with a headache in the morning. In later life, Graham Bell suffered from insomnia because of overwork and stress. Acting on his mother’s advice, he kept off pickles and daily splashed cold water on his eyes. Even when Graham Bell slept soundly, he would have a severe headache if someone woke him up before nine in the morning.

Guy De Maupassant (1850-1893) : A French short story writer Guy De Maupassant (1850-1893) suffered from some agonizing symptoms caused by syphilis. Migraine was one of them. Maupassant sought relief in morphine, sunbathing, and endless other cures.

George Bernand Shaw(1856-1950) : Syphilis, so easily curable today, killed the great short writer when he only 43. George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950), great playwright and critic, became a vegetarian chiefly for two reasons. Firstly, he wanted to emulate the poet Shelley. Secondly, to cure himself of the monthly headaches that left him surprised to be alive after each bout. At the age of 70, he switched to a completely vegetarian diet – beans, lentils, macaroni, fresh fruits and vegetables. He was successful in making his last 24 years more
comfortable with this diet.

Sigmund Freud (1856-1939) : The Austrian psychiatrist and pioneer of psychoanalysis, suffered from migraine attacks all through his life. His sinusitis further aggravated the agony brought by these attacks. He took mild painkillers, such as aspirin, for the headaches. For the nasal problems he often applied cocaine. One cause of Freud’s headaches was the Fohn - a warm, dry wind which blows down the slopes of the Alps and quickly changes the atmospheric pressure and temperature.

Freud also held that his migraines resulted from sexual deprivation. This was at a time when he and his wife were voluntarily exercising abstinence in order not to add to their already considerable brood of six children. Eventually, Freud’s headaches decreased in number as he freed himself of many of his neuroses through careful self-analysis.

Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924) : Indigestion and migraine were the two main ailments that dogged America’s 28th President Woodrow Wilson (1856-1924) throughout his life. He started having his ‘ominous headaches’ as a child. So delicate was his health that his parents could not send him to school. So, he did not learn to read till the age of 11. Wilson never found a cure for his malady. However, he did not ever allow migraine to slow down the pace of his work. He tried to cure himself by dieting and fasting, but it proved of little avail. It was not until he was in his late 70s that he found a diet that worked. It consisted basically of brown bread, fresh fruit, and celery. He kept away from wheat and meat.

Princess Margaret (1930 - 2002) : suffered from migraine for most of her life. She was a patron of the British Migraine Trust. James Brough, who has written a book on Princess Margaret, says she was a victim of a hereditary porphyria which is an incurable illness with many painful symptoms, migraine being one of them.

Her doctors prescribed her, by way treatment, a special diet which combats low blood sugar. It mitigated her suffering to some extent, but failed to cure her completely. - PTI Feature

What comes to mind when you hear the name Shiloh? Chances are it's not the Civil War battleground or the hard-luck dog.

Most likely, it's the oft-photographed child of A-list couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, better known by their tabloid moniker "Brangelina." That wide-spread awareness has earned the A-list kiddie a spot at the top of Forbes' first-ever look at which Hollywood babies have the most effect on pop culture.

To determine which tykes were tops, we looked at both Web presence and press clippings for more than 50 A-list offspring (5 years old and younger) over the course of a year. Then, with a whittled-down list, we reached out to Encino, Calif.-based polling firm E-Poll Market Research for both awareness data for the kids and consumer-appeal rankings for their celebrity parents.

Shiloh's first-place showing comes from strong rankings across the board. Thanks to high-profile parents with an even more high-profile history, her arrival was long-awaited and -- no surprise -- much covered. In fact, the adorable 1-year-old, the only biological child of the globe-trotting set, popped up in more than 2,000 articles over the course of the year.

The rest of the Jolie-Pitt brood isn't far behind. Two-year-old Zahara ranks third, behind Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' 1-year-old daughter Suri. And 4-year-old Pax, who's remained in the public eye since his high-profile adoption earlier this year, comes in fifth. (Six-year-old Maddox was too old to qualify for the list.)

Rounding out the top five is Sean Preston Federline, who has tabloid-target mom Britney Spears to thank for a fourth-place ranking. After all, if it weren't for the former pop-tart's questionable parenting skills (think: driving with the pint-size star on her lap), the 2-year-old wouldn't have landed second when it comes to both Web and press presence.

But why the fascination with folks that can barely talk, much less engage in gossip-worthy behavior?

"We can't really identify with the lives celebrities lead and the luxuries they have," explains Danielle Friedland, founder of celebrity-babies.com, a popular Web site entirely devoted to star progeny. "But what we can identify with is their parenting and their love for their children."

As a result of the attention and money their parents earn, celebrity kids instantly become mini-style icons to size up and swoon over, adds Sarah Ivens, editor in chief of OK! magazine: "We're now as fascinated by the fact that Suri has taken off to Paris and Berlin in little Burberry outfits as we are by what Scarlett Johansson is wearing."

Of course, when it comes to tabloid interest, not all star kiddies are created equal. And while it often breaks down by their parent's popularity, sometimes a child can actually boost a mom or dad's appeal.

Ivens offers Suri as example, claiming both her celebrity parents and their relationship were the subject of much scrutiny before the tot entered the picture. But since Suri, who is frequently snapped with her doting parents romping about the world, the couple's relationship has become more believable and romantic. "It's made them more of a proper fairytale," she says.

New York Bureau Chief of photo agency World Entertainment News Network Jill Stempel agrees: "[Suri's] completely resuscitated Tom Cruise's career," she says, "and it's kind of humanized him."

And while it's easiest to point fingers at tabloids for exploiting the coo-worthy set, celebrity parents are often in on the action. In fact, selling exclusive first photos has become an increasingly popular means for star parents to control the media maelstrom.

Among the bold-face names to cut deals with the celebrity press: Pitt and Jolie, who reportedly banked $4.1 million from People magazine for the first shots of Shiloh (the humanitarian duo donated the proceeds to charity). Larry Birkhead reportedly scored some $2 million of his own from OK! magazine for exclusive first photos of seventh-place daughter Dannielynn.

But with or without the splashy photo sale, In Touch Weekly Editor in Chief Richard Spencer believes there just might be a healthy byproduct of the unrelenting tabloid attention.

"I'd like to think that Britney Spears does put the seatbelt on the children now," he says, "knowing that so many paparazzi are photographing that."

Celebrities Who are Paid To Party

t's the most wonderful time of the year. Sleigh bells ringing, children singing, and celebrities banking mega-bucks for doing what the rest of us have to pay for: attending a hot holiday party.

Take Paris and Nicky Hilton. One well-placed insider says the heiress sisters will haul in $500,000 for ushering in the New Year at trendy Los Angeles nightclub LAX. Lindsay Lohan had been set to host, but pulled out after her well-publicized battle with drugs and alcohol and various arrests culminated in a long rehab stay. "She'll be taking it easy with family and close friends," says representative Leslie Sloane. Good thinking, Linds.

Last year, paunchy pop-tart Britney Spears rang in the New Year while raking in a reported $350,000 for hosting at Las Vegas club Pure. Brit reportedly collapsed shortly after midnight from partying or exhaustion, foreshadowing the rest of her year. This New Year's, her rep says nothing is scheduled yet. Has her spectacular tumble from pop goddess to pop wreck put her on the Z-list even in meccas of excess like Vegas and Hollywood? "You'd think she'd be off-limits to anything legitimate," says Josh Richman, a well-known Los Angeles event director. "But everyone loves her new song, so who knows. She's like Teflon."

Less troubled stars still rake it in. Rock lovebirds Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are reportedly going to cash a $150,000 check for appearing at the Shore Club in Miami. Pamela Anderson, who made $110,000 last year for partying at Tao in Las Vegas, should pocket about the same from Pure this year. Pam won't even need a private plane, like Tao provided for her last year, as she's already in Vegas levitating in a magic show at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

The bottom rung of Hollywood's ladder--reality stars, beauty-pageant queens--will often show at a party for the free bottle service and, of course, the promise of paparazzi.

Regular folk can shell out anywhere from $100 to tens of thousands--depending on the desired level of VIP status--to attend a soire and hopefully get a glimpse of the famous host.

In Hollywood, everyone deserves a party. Lara Shriftman, publicist and party-giver extraordinaire (her line of party products is sold on the Home Shopping Network) throws a holiday party every year for Lulu Flynn, her 3-year-old miniature Shih Tzu, and Lulu's doggy pals, including actress Lara Flynn Boyle's Shih Tzu, Greta Garbo, and tennis champ Serena Williams' Jack Russell, Jackie.

The dogs prance around in Santa outfits from Petco, dine on doggy cakes from Three Dog Bakery, and gnaw on rawhide bones tucked into their stockings. Shriftman says there's been an uptick of Hollywood pup parties: "People are obsessed with their dogs."

Tinseltown's humans have their pick of parties during the season. Jennifer Klein, producer of "Armageddon" and "Pearl Harbor," holds her bash on the first Saturday of every December. This year, the 300-plus guests included Eddie Murphy, country crooner Kenny Chesney and "Transformers" director Michael Bay. Klein says insider parties like hers are a chance for movie people to network while they have fun, free from the prying eyes of the hoi polloi. "Eddie Murphy knows he doesn't have to worry about someone asking for his autograph," she says.

Even happier were the out-of-work writers: "They were telling me they'd spent all week picketing and were so glad to be at a party."

It wouldn't be La La Land without sexing up the season. "Sexy Santas" are popular this year.For her staff party, L.A. media consultant Christina Martin has hired a St. Nick with rock-hard abs who will "ho ho ho" in nothing but a red hat, red Speedo and black boots. "It's Chippendales meets Santa," she says.

Mid-month, the parties wind down as celebrities jet off to warmer climates like St. Bart's or Cabo San Lucas. But a star can't just frolic on the beach for the holidays. Skiing or snowboarding in Aspen or Lake Tahoe is essential, too. Trendier destinations this year include Cuba, Argentina, Costa Rica and Punta del Este, Uruguay.

One of this season's celebrity hot spots is St. Charles, Mo. That's not a typo. Ameristar Casino's Home Nightclub has booked B-listers like perennial partier Wilmer Valderrama, his former "That 70s Show" costar Danny Masterson, reality vixen Kim Kardashian and former Miss USA Tara Conner for a week of hosting duties leading up to New Year's Eve.

But New York, Las Vegas, Miami and Los Angeles remain the top places to party and, if you're a celebrity, get paid.
