Snow and Ice Hit the Midwest
Winter weather strikes the Midwest, making highways hazardous and closing Des Moines' airport. Some areas could get up to 16 inches of snow.
Trucks pass under a message on Interstate 80 indicating severe weather near Des Moines, Iowa.
